Jesus Saw Snow in Israel

The Bible mentions snow in the story of Benaiah who went down into a pit on a snowy day and killed a lion. But I was surprised to learn that it snows in Israel during the months of January and February. It doesn’t snow as much as it does in New York, but it snows in Jerusalem and it snows even more up north in Nazareth, where Jesus lived. So when Jesus was growing up, he probably played with his Jewish friends and cousins in the snow. And if there was snow to be cleaned up, he probably helped his parents shoveling the snow.
