Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi

"Rabbi" means "one with great knowledge." It also means teacher. Jesus was one with great knowledge and taught Judaism. For me this was difficult to comprehend. Even though as a Catholic child I had been taught that Jesus was Jewish and that he was born, lived, and died as a Jew, it was difficult for me to realize that this meant that his religion was Judaism and it was even harder to realize that Jesus taught Judaism.
